<br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N N O. <br /> <br />1 0 632 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />SEP 1 4 1981 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE PENINSULA CONFLICT RESOLUTION CENTER, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Peninsula Conflict Resolution Center, Inc., a <br /> <br />California non-profit corporation, has been established for the <br /> <br />principal purpose of improving neighborhood and community communication <br /> <br />in furtherance of the public order, health and welfare in the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City; and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Redwood City has found and <br /> <br />determined that the Neighborhood Boards Program so operated and <br /> <br />conducted by said corporation is of general value to the residents of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City, and will result in public benefit to the whole <br /> <br />community; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City proposes to contribute to the Peninsula Conflict <br /> <br />Resolution Center, Inc., the sum of Twenty-two Thousand and NO/lOa <br /> <br />Dollars ($22,000.00) during the fiscal year July 1, 1987 through June <br /> <br />30, 1988; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement (form dated 9/1/87), by and between the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City and the peninsula Conflict Resolution Center, Inc., a <br /> <br />copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br /> <br />which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is <br /> <br />hereby approved, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed <br /> <br />to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1 0 632 <br />
