<br />" <br /> <br />S\\ . n t 9 / 4 / 8 7 (* 2 0 ) <br /> <br />COpy <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0 62 5 <br /> <br />SEP 1 4 1987 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS "ANNEXATION <br />OF THE LANDS OF HORGAN RANCH TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY" ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County <br /> <br />of San Mateo adopted its Resolution No. 764 on August 29, 1987, <br /> <br />making determinations and approving the proposed annexation to <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City of territory described in Exhibit" A" , <br /> <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission approved said <br /> <br />annexation without terms and conditions; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the purpose for this annexation is to develop the <br /> <br />property in conformance with the Horgan Ranch' Specific Plan of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the regular County assessment roll is utilized by <br /> <br />this City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the affected territory will not be taxed for <br /> <br />existing general bonded indebtedness of this City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Local <br /> <br />Agency <br /> <br />Formation <br /> <br />Commission <br /> <br />has <br /> <br />authorized this Council to approve this annexation without notice <br /> <br />and hearing and without an election; <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE ; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />This Council hereby orders the territory described in <br /> <br />Exhibit "A" annexed, and hereby directs the City Clerk to <br /> <br />transmit a certified copy of this resolution with applicable fees <br />required by Section 54902.5 of the Government Code to the <br /> <br />EX8 <br /> <br />., 8 '!., <br /> <br />! <br /> <br />1 0 62.5 <br />
