<br />SWC:mf 7/10/~1 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />8894 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUL 1 3 19tH <br /> <br />-------- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING SPECIFIC PLAN RELATING TO <br />PROPERTY KNOWN AS "HORGAN RANCH" <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Sections 65450 et seq. of the <br /> <br />Goverrunent Code, the City Manager, with the assent of this <br /> <br />Council, did direct the Planning Commission to prepare a <br /> <br />specific plan for the purpose of systematic execution of the <br /> <br />General Plan in the Horgan Ranch area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said direction, and following public <br /> <br />hearing, the Planning Commission has prepared a specific plan <br /> <br />and has forwarded to this Council its recommendation adopted <br /> <br />at its meeting of June 2, 1981, and a statement of its reasons <br /> <br />for such recommendation, that the specific plan entitled "Horgan <br /> <br />Ranch Specific Plan" (prepared by the Redwood City Planning <br /> <br />Department - May, 1981) be adopted; and <br /> <br />\'mEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report (EIR 81-04) has <br /> <br />been reviewed by this Council in connection with such proposed <br /> <br />specific plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 65453 of the Government Code <br /> <br />the Planning Director has presented to this Council a complete <br /> <br />breakdown of costs incurred in the preparation of the specific <br /> <br />plans which costs shall be reimbursed to the City in the form <br /> <br />of prorata fees paid by future developers of the Horgan Ranch <br /> <br />area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, after due notice and public hearing, this Council <br /> <br />finds that adoption of the 'Horgan Ranch Specific Plan is in the <br /> <br />public interest; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE ; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TIffi CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />889-4 <br /> <br />EX ~ "F "- \ <br />
