- ORIGINAL - <br /> 11/16/98 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13512 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR TRUCKING AND HAULING <br /> SERVICES; AND AUTORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br /> FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />trucking and hauling services for the Department of Public Works Services in the <br />City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation two bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Rogers Trucks & Equipment, Inc. of San Francisco, <br />California, was the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to accept the bid of Rogers Trucks & Equipment, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Rogers Trucks & Equipment, Inc., in the amount of <br />Sixteen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($16,500.00), the base bid plus a ten <br />percent (10%) contingency for a total amount not to exceed Eighteen Thousand <br />One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($18,150.00) and computed in accordance with said <br />bidder's proposal dated October 28, 1998, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said services. <br /> <br /> 2.
