<br />DAS:sh 7/20/87 <br /> <br />(#20) <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUL 27 1987 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.1 0 ;) 71 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />SAND, AGGREGATE, PEA GRAVEL AND FINES FOR 1987-88 <br />FISCAL YEAR; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFOR; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10540, adopted June 22, <br /> <br />1987, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of sand, <br /> <br />aggregate, pea gravel and fines for 1987-88 Fiscal Year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said materials; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />Supply <br /> <br />& <br /> <br />Trucking, <br /> <br />Redwood <br /> <br />City, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing <br /> <br />of said materials, and it is the intention of this Council to <br /> <br />award said bid to Redwood Supply & Trucking; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Redwood Supply & Trucking, in the amount of <br /> <br />Thirty Three Thousand Two Hundred Forty-one and 31/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($33,241.31), more or less, for the furnishing of sand, <br />aggregate, pea gravel and fines for 1987-88 Fiscal Year in <br /> <br />accordance with the bidder's proposal, dated June 14, 1987, and <br /> <br />in accordance with the specifications therefor on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk, is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br /> <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br /> <br />the furnishing of said materials. <br /> <br />105"'1 <br />
