<br />SWC : s h 7 / 2 / 8 7 ( # 2 0 ) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10559 <br /> <br />JUl 2 0 1987 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION SUMMARILY VACATING PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT <br />(SANDPIPER SUBDIVISION UNIT NO.2) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3, Chapter 4 of <br /> <br />Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of <br /> <br />California, (commencing with Section 8330) the legislative body <br /> <br />may summarily vacate a public service easement if such easement <br /> <br />has been superseded by relocation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a public service easement for storm drainage <br /> <br />purposes is no longer needed, because such easement has been <br /> <br />relocated; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council has approved the final map for Sandpiper <br /> <br />Subdivision Unit No.2, pursuant to which map the storm drainage <br /> <br />public service easement has been widened into a lagoon and <br /> <br />relocated. <br /> <br />2. This Council has further accepted a deed from Redwood <br /> <br />Shores, Inc. granting to the City certain parcels, described as <br /> <br />Lots A and B of the aforesaid map, which parcels are for the <br /> <br />purpose of water storage and storm drainage. <br /> <br />3. The map designation and deed referred to in paragraph 1 <br /> <br />and 2 replaced by relocation the hereinafter described public <br /> <br />service easement which this Council finds is thereby no longer <br /> <br />needed, and hereby orders said easement vacated. <br /> <br />10559 <br />
