<br />P~S:djk 7/2/87 (#34) <br /> <br />EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY LICENSE AGREEMENT <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of <br /> <br /> <br />1987, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br />municipal corporation of the State of California ("City") and the <br /> <br />REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, a State agency ("Agency"); <br /> <br />WIT N E SSE T H : <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Agency has entered into an agreement to acquire <br /> <br /> <br />that certain parcel of real property designated by San Mateo <br /> <br />County Assessor's Parcel No. 053-137-010; and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City requires a portion of said parcel of real <br /> <br />property in connection with the construction of public <br /> <br /> <br />improvements consisting of a Library building and related storm <br /> <br />water drainage improvements and landscaping (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, upon vesting of fee title interest in Agency to the <br /> <br /> <br />parcel of real property within which said portion is contained, <br /> <br />Agency is willing to permit City to use said portion (described <br /> <br />in Exhibit "I" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference <br /> <br /> <br />incorporated herein) for the Project; <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. Upon the Effective Date hereof, Agency shall, and does <br /> <br />hereby, grant to City, its agents, employees, officers, <br /> <br />independent contractors and representatives an irrevocable <br /> <br /> <br />license, permit and entitlement to enter, use and occupy all that <br /> <br /> <br />certain real property described in Exhibit I. <br /> <br /> <br />2. City may perform any activities its deems necessary or <br /> <br /> <br />convenient upon said property in connection with City's Project <br />
