_ _ 11/2/98 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13507 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND APPROVING AND <br /> AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF PURCHASE DOCUMENTS FOR <br /> THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC <br /> DELINEATION MATERIALS FOR VARIOUS REDWOOD <br /> SHORES ROADWAY AREAS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />the purchase and installation of button dots, striping, legends, crosswalks and <br />other surface traffic delineation materials (the "materials") for various Redwood <br />Shores roadway areas in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation, two bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Weatherly Striping Company of San Carlos, California, is the <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />accept the bid of Weatherly Striping Company; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Weatherly Striping Company for the purchase and <br />installation of various traffic delineation materials to the City of Redwood City in <br />the amount of Thirteen Thousand Eight Hundred Forty-three and No/100 Dollars <br />($13,843.00) and in accordance with said bidder's proposal dated July 30, 1998, <br />is hereby accepted, and said bidder is hereby declared to be the lowest <br /> <br /> Rest-532 1 <br /> FXS:djk <br /> G:/SWRedwood/Council <br /> 10/22/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
