<br />Background <br /> <br />J Council Member Diane Howard and Linda Griffiths, <br />Community Services Manager, spearheaded effort with <br />the Alliance. <br /> <br />] Fall 2005, City Council approved funding a community <br />survey for transportation needs of Redwood City <br />residents with Shuttle Stakeholder Group input. <br /> <br />J Stakeholder Group members include City staff, <br />community stakeholders such as Seniors Affairs <br />Commission, Housing and Human Concerns, SamTrans <br />and C/CAG of San Mateo County. <br /> <br />] 4/24/06, survey results provided to City Council. <br />Approval provided for planning of a community shuttle <br />service pilot program based on the results and <br />stakeholder input. <br />
