0 R I G I N A L 10/12/98 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13491 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM - <br /> REDWOOD FAMILY HOUSE <br /> <br /> (SHELTER NETWORK OF SAN MATEO COUNTY) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Shelter Network of San Mateo County (Contractor) conducts a <br />transitional housing program for homeless resident families who reside in the City of <br />Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br /> <br />Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998, and ending June 30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Twenty Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($20,000.00) <br /> <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br /> <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Transitional Housing Program - <br />Redwood Family House" (form dated 8/14/98), by and between the City of Redwood <br />City and the Shelter Network of San Mateo County, a copy of which agreement is on file <br /> <br /> <br />
