0 R I G I N A L 10/12/98 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13489 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR HOUSING REVITALIZATION <br /> PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (NORTH PENINSULA NEIGHBORHOOD SERVICES CENTER) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, North Peninsula Neighborhood Services Center (Contractor) conducts a <br />housing accessibility modification program for residents of the City of Redwood City <br />(the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br /> <br />Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998, and ending June 30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br /> <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000) from its <br />Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br /> <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Housing Revitalization Program," (form <br />dated 8/14/98), by and between the City of Redwood City and the North Peninsula <br />Neighborhood Services Center, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the <br /> <br /> <br />
