10/12/98 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13488 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR HOUSING ACCESSIBILITY <br /> MODIFICATION PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (CENTER FOR THE INDEPENDENCE <br /> OF THE DISABLED) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Center for the Independence of the Disabled (Contractor) conducts a <br />housing accessibility modification program for residents of the City of Redwood City <br />(the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br />Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998, and ending June 30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000) from its <br />Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br /> agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Housing Accessibility <br /> Modification Program," (form dated 8/14/98), by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> <br /> <br />
