'~day of <br />~~, 2001, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> mun'~ipal corporation of the State of California, (City), and SAN MATEO COUNTY <br /> COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT/CANADA COLLEGE, a California <br /> nonprofit corporation (Contractor); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a job training program to assist low income <br /> residents of the City in creating small businesses(the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct <br /> the Program for residents of City during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2001, and <br /> ending June 30, 2002; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to Contractor <br /> the sum of One Hundred Twenty Thousand no/100 Dollars ($120,000.00) from its <br /> Community Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance. City shall allocate to Contractor the sum of One <br /> Hundred Twenty Thousand no/100 Dollars ($120,000.00) for exclusive use by <br /> <br /> 8/15/01 <br /> <br /> <br />
