0 R I G I N A L 10/12/98 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13486 <br /> <br /> Resolution Approving And Authorizing Execution Of <br /> Agreement for Clara-Mateo Alliance Homeless Rehabilitation Shelter <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Clara-Mateo Alliance is a private, non-profit organization that provides a <br />homeless rehabilitation shelter program for homeless individuals, couples and families, which <br />services are in furtherance of the public health, welfare and benefit; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Clara-Mateo Alliance, has requested financial assistance for use by it in <br />conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998 and ending June 30, 1999; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to enter into <br />an agreement with Clara-Mateo Alliance to provide financial assistance in furtherance of its public <br />purposes; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement (form dated 8/14/98), by and between the City of Redwood City <br />and Clara-Mateo Alliance, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the City Clerk, to <br />which copy reference is hereby made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the City <br />Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and on behalf of the City of <br />Redwood City. <br /> <br />Reso - Veterans <br /> 98- HSFA - 001R <br /> 8/14/98 <br /> <br /> <br />
