ORIGINAL ~* <br /> 10/12/98 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13483 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR EMERGENCY SHELTER PROGRAM - <br /> SPRING STREET SHELTER <br /> <br />(MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF SAN MATEO COUNTY) <br />WHEREAS, Mental Health Association of San Mateo County (Contractor) <br />conducts an emergency shelter program for single persons with mental disabilities who <br />reside in the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br />Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998, and ending June 30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Fifteen Thousand and no/100 Dollars ($15,000.00) <br />from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for Emergency Shelter Program - <br />Spring Street Shelter" (form dated 8/14/98), by and between the City of Redwood City <br /> <br /> <br />
