0 R I G I N A L 10/12/98 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13477 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR AIDS CASE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (ELLIPSE PENINSULA AIDS SERVICES) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Ellipse Peninsula AIDS Services (Contractor) conducts an AIDS <br />case management program for residents of the City of Redwood City (the Program); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to conduct the <br />Program during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1998, and ending June 30, 1999; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said request and desires to <br />allocate to Contractor, the sum of Nine Thousand, Eight Hundred and Fifty and no/100 <br />Dollars ($9,850.00) from its Community Development Block Grant funds for the <br />foregoing purposes; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an agreement providing for such funding has been presented to, and <br />reviewed by, this Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to approve said <br /> <br />agreement and authorize its execution; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> That certain agreement entitled, "Agreement for AIDS Case Management <br />Program," (form dated 8/14/98), by and between the City of Redwood City and the <br />Ellipse Peninsula AIDS Services, a copy of which agreement is on file in the office of the <br /> <br />Reso-Ellipse <br />PS 98-004R <br /> <br /> <br />
