<br />SWC:sh 5/1/87 <br /> <br />(#19) <br />MAY 5 1987 <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.10495 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DESIGNATING ADDITIONAL AREAS WITHIN THE CITY <br />OF REDWOOD CITY AS A REVISED SURVEY AREA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 4, Article 2, Part 1, Division 4 of the <br /> <br />California Health and Safety Code, a portion of the Community <br /> <br />Redevelopment Law, grants authority to a legislative body by <br /> <br />resolution, to designate an area within a city as a survey area, <br /> <br />for the purpose of studying said area to determine if a <br /> <br />redevelopment project or projects within said area are feasible; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 8979, adopted October <br /> <br />12, 1981, the City Council authorized and directed the Planning <br /> <br />Commission to designate a survey area within the City, pursuant <br /> <br />to which resolution the Planning Commission did so designate a <br /> <br />survey area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 1862, adopted July 19, <br /> <br />1982, the City Council approved and adopted the Redevelopment <br /> <br />Plan for Redevelopment Project No. 2 within said survey area; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has determined that it would be <br /> <br />appropriate to expand the existing survey area for purposes of <br /> <br />determining if a redevelopment project or projects within said <br /> <br />expanded area would be feasible; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. That certain area within the City of Redwood City, the <br /> <br />boundaries of which area are more specifically described in <br /> <br />10495 <br />
