<br />DAS:sh 4/22/87 (#19) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 049;J <br /> <br />OR!GINAL <br />APR 47 1987 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR STREET LIGHT REWIRING <br />1985-86 BREWSTER BROADWAY EL CAMINO PROJECT; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10451, adopted by the <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on March 9, 1987, the <br /> <br />City Clerk called for bids for the Street Light Rewiring 1985-86 <br /> <br />Brewster - Broadway - El Camino Project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Wingard Engineering, Fremont, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Wingard Engineering; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Wingard Engineering in the sum of Sixty Six <br /> <br />Thousand Eighty and No/100 Dollars ($66,080.00), computed in <br /> <br />accordance with said bidder's proposal dated April 14, 1987, for <br /> <br />Street Light Rewiring 1985-86 Brewster - Broadway - El Camino <br /> <br />Project, is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement Street Light Rewiring <br /> <br />1985-86 Brewster - Broadway - El Camino Project", by and between <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Wingard Engineering for the <br /> <br />10493 <br />
