<br />DAS:sp 4/17/87 <br /> <br />(#19) <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />APR 2 0 1987 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0486 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR HERKNER POOL REPAIRS; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10466, adopted by the <br /> <br />City Council of the City of Redwood City on March 23, 1987, the <br /> <br />City Clerk called for bids for the Herkner Pool Repairs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, EDD Flowers Corporation, Napa, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to EDD Flowers Corporation; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of EDD Flowers Corporation in the sum of Twenty <br /> <br />Seven Thousand Four Hundred and No/lOO Dollars ($27,400.00), <br /> <br />computed in accordance with bidder I s proposal dated April 13, <br /> <br />1987, for Herkner Pool Repairs, is hereby found and declared to <br /> <br />be the lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement Herkner Pool Repairs" by <br /> <br />and between the City of Redwood City and EDD Flowers Corporation <br /> <br />for the performance of said work in accordance with the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal a copy of which agreement is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to which <br /> <br />10486 <br />
