<br />Exhibit "I" <br /> <br />NOTICE OF HEARING <br />(EMINENT DOMAIN PROCEEDINGS) <br /> <br />To: <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of <br /> <br /> <br />Redwood City will consider the adoption of a resolution of <br /> <br /> <br />necessity for the exercise of the power of eminent domain, and <br /> <br /> <br />that said Council intends to adopt said resolution in accordance <br /> <br />with the provisions of Article 2 (commencing with S1245.210, <br /> <br />Chapter 4, Title 7, Part 3 of the California Code of Civil <br /> <br /> <br />Procedure) . The property proposed to be acquired by eminent <br /> <br />domain is described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by <br /> <br /> <br />this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that you are entitled to <br /> <br /> <br />appear and be heard at said hearing on the questions whether: <br /> <br /> <br />(a) The public interest and necessity require the project <br /> <br />intended to be acquired (to wit: acquisition of an <br /> <br /> <br />easement for the construction, installation, <br /> <br />maintenance, replacment, and repair of landscaping and <br /> <br />appurtenances); <br /> <br />(b) The project is planned or located in a manner that will <br /> <br />be most compatible with the greatest public good and <br /> <br /> <br />the least private injury; and <br /> <br /> <br />(c) The property sought to be acquired is necessary for the <br /> <br />project. <br />
