Upon consideration of the application of Ken M. <br /> <br />Rohrbach and Sharon Boumis for an amendment to the Certificate of <br /> <br />Public Convenience heretofore granted, this Council hereby finds <br /> <br />that the public convenience and necessity require additional <br /> <br />taxicab service in the City, which will be served by an amendment <br /> <br />to such certificate. <br /> <br />2. This Council has determined that the applicants, Ken M. <br /> <br />Rohrbach and Sharon Boumis, have fully complied with all <br /> <br />necessary requirements of Chapter 33 of the Code of the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City, except for the obtaining of the insurance required <br /> <br />by said Chapter 33; and further determines that the applicants <br /> <br />have the ability to comply with the operating requirements of <br /> <br />said Chapter 33. <br /> <br />3. This Council hereby amends the Certificate of Public <br /> <br />Convenience heretofore granted to the aforesaid Ken M. Rohrbach <br /> <br />and Sharon Boumis, dba Bay Area Cab Leasing Company - Checker <br /> <br />Yellow Cab Company of Redwood City to permit operation of an <br /> <br />additional eight taxicabs. <br /> <br />4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to issue to Ken M. <br /> <br />Rohrbach and Sharon Boumis, dba Bay Area Cab Leasing Company - <br /> <br />Checker Yellow Cab Company of Redwood City, an additional eight <br /> <br />permits for taxicab operation in the City of Redwood City, upon <br /> <br />payment of the permit fee established pursuant to Resolution No. <br /> <br />9469, adopted November 7, 1983, and upon furnishing of a <br /> <br />certificate of insurance evidencing insurance coverage in <br /> <br />compliance with the requirements of Chapter 33 of the Code of the <br /> <br />City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />1 ."~ Jl..~ <br />0/1 ;3 b <br />
