<br />DES:djk 1/29/87 <br /> <br />(#18) <br /> <br />ORJGiNAL <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 0418 <br /> <br />FEB 2 i987 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL GRANT TO <br />FUND LIBRARY LITERACY PROJECTS PURSUANT TO THE LIBRARY <br />SERVICES AND CONSTRUCTION ACT AMENDMENTS OF 1984 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The City Librarian is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />apply for (federal) fiscal year 1987 grant funds to fund library <br /> <br />literacy projects in the City of Redwood City pursuant to Title <br /> <br />VI (Library Literacy Programs) of the Library Services and <br /> <br />Construction Act, as amended (P.L. 597, 84th Congress), and to <br /> <br />execute all necessary or appropriate documents in furtherance of <br /> <br />said application. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />1 U418 <br />
