<br />DAS:s~ 1/22/87 (#18) <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />-; o~17 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JAN 2 6 1987 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR CITY MODESTO ASH TREE <br />SPRAYING 1987 i AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10395, adopted January <br /> <br />1, 1987, the City Clerk called for bids for spraying of City <br /> <br />modesto ash trees - 1987, in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for said <br /> <br />spraying and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Bates Pest Control, San Mateo, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Bates Pest Control; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Bates Pest Control at a rate of Seven and <br /> <br />50/100 Dollars ($7.50) per tree, computed in accordance with <br /> <br />bidder's proposal dated January 20, 1987, for the spraying of <br /> <br />Ci ty modesto ash trees is hereby accepted and said bidder is <br />hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for <br /> <br />said spraying. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />spraying of City modesto ash trees in accordance with the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />reference is hereby made for the full particulars concerning the <br /> <br />terms and conditions thereof. <br /> <br />10417 <br />
