" ~ 0 R I G I N A L _ 9/21/98 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13461 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br /> RUBBERIZED RAILROAD CROSSINGS IN THE CITIES OF <br /> BURLINGAME AND SAN MATEO; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN <br /> OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13365, adopted June 22, 1998, <br /> the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Construction of Rubberized Railroad <br /> Crossings in the Cities of Burlingame and San Mateo, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said advertisement, three bids were received for <br /> the performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Stacy and Witbeck, Inc. of San Francisco, California is the <br /> lowest responsible bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br /> award said bid to Stacy and Witbeck, Inc.; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1.
