9/21/98 <br /> ORIGINAL -- <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13460 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE REDWOOD <br /> CREEK CONCRETE WALL REPLACEMENT PROJECT, <br /> DIRECTING RETURN OF BID SECURITY; AND AUTHORIZING <br /> AND DIRECTING READVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS THEREFOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 13394, adopted August 17, 1998, <br />the City Clerk advertised for bids for the Redwood Creek Concrete Wall <br />Replacement Project, Redwood City, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in response to said advertisement, two bids were received; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has determined that said bids (including the <br />apparent lowest bid) were non-responsive, that the bid documents require <br />clarification; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as a result thereof, this Council desires to exercise its <br />reserved right to reject all bids and to authorize and direct the City Clerk to <br /> <br />readvertise for bids for the work therein described; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1.
