<br />SWC:sh 11/21/86 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0 378 <br /> <br />ORlG:NAL <br />NOV 24 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR SALE AND LEASE-BACK OF <br />PROPERTY AT 3631 JEFFERSON AVENUE; DIRECTING FINANCE <br />DIRECTOR TO PLACE PURCHASE FUNDS IN ESCROW; AUTHORIZING <br />CITY CLERK TO ACCEPT DEED TO SAID PROPERTY; AND <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF LEASE AGREEMENT (KAINOS) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10363, adopted October <br /> <br />27, 1986, the City Council approved bid documents for sale to the <br /> <br />City of the property known at 3631 Jefferson Avenue, and the <br /> <br />lease-back of said premises to the seller for the purpose of <br /> <br />constructing on said property a home for the developmentally <br /> <br />disabled, and authorized the City Clerk to call for bids <br /> <br />therefore; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call for bids, Kainos Home and <br /> <br />Training Center for the Developmentally Disabled, Redwood City, <br /> <br />California, submitted a bid, and is the lowest responsible <br /> <br />bidder, and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />award said bid to said Kainos Home and Training Center for the <br /> <br />Developmentally Disabled; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Kainos Home and Training Center for the <br /> <br />Developmentally Disabled, dated November 19, 1986, including <br /> <br />certificates <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />experience <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />financial <br /> <br />capability <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />non-profit status, for the sale of and lease-back of the premises <br /> <br />according to those certain bid documents and lease agreement <br /> <br />entitled, "Lease Agreement" (form dated 9/16/86R) is hereby <br /> <br />10378 <br />
