<br />CWC:sh 11/17/86 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to substitute the City of <br /> <br /> <br />Pomona's bidding procedures for those of the City of Redwood <br /> <br /> <br />City, to designate the City of Pomona as the City's agent for the <br /> <br /> <br />purpose of purchasing the aforesaid ladder truck, and to <br /> <br />authorize the City Manager to enter into an agreement for the <br /> <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment from Seagrave Fire Apparatus, Inc.; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council further desires to finance the <br /> <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment through means of a lease-purchase <br /> <br /> <br />arrangement, if such means is found appropriate by the Finance <br /> <br /> <br />Director; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council does hereby authorize the substitution of <br /> <br /> <br />the City of Pomona's bidding procedures for those required by the <br /> <br /> <br />Ci ty of Redwood City, and does hereby designate the City of <br /> <br /> <br />Pomona as the City's agent, for the purpose of purchasing, <br /> <br /> <br />through the outstanding Pomona purchase order therefor, a 100 ft. <br /> <br /> <br />aerial ladder truck from Seagrave Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br /> <br /> <br />2. This Council does further authorize the City Manager to <br /> <br /> <br />enter into an agreement for the purchase of the aforesaid <br /> <br /> <br />equipment from Seagrave Fire Apparatus, Inc. <br /> <br />2 <br />
