.; ~ 9/21/98 <br /> RI'GINAL <br /> <br /> R E S O L U T I O N N O. 13459 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE CERRITO AVENUE <br /> STORM DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT; AUTHORIZING <br /> EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br /> DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br /> the Cerrito Avenue Storm Drainage Improvement Project at Cerrito Avenue and <br /> Woodside Road in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation one bid was received; and <br /> WHEREAS, Satterfield & Co., Ltd. of San Bruno, California, was the sole <br /> bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to accept the bid of <br /> Satterfield & Co., Ltd.; <br /> <br /> NOW,THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Satterfield & Co., Ltd. in the total amount of Sixteen <br /> Thousand Sixty and No/100 Dollars ($16,060.00), computed in accordance with <br /> said bidder's proposal dated September 9, 1998, is hereby accepted and said <br /> bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest responsible bidder for said <br /> work. <br /> <br /> 2.
