<br />DAS:sh 10/16/86 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0 366 <br /> <br />OCT 2'( 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF THIRTEEN <br />(13) PICKUP TRUCKS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10327, adopted September <br /> <br />8, 1986, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of <br /> <br />thirteen (13) pickup trucks; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Mission Valley Ford, San Jose, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Mission Valley Ford; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Mission Valley Ford, in the sum of One <br /> <br />Hundred Ninety-one Thousand Six Hundred Sixty-two and 04/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($191,662.04), computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated September 30, 1986, for the sale of thirteen (13) <br /> <br />pickup trucks is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found <br /> <br />and declared to be the lowest bidder for said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of <br /> <br />said equipment <br /> <br />in accordance with the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk to which <br /> <br />10366 <br />
