<br />DAS:sh 10/03/86 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10353 <br /> <br />O:1IGINAL <br />OCT 6 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR PIPE AND CULVERT CLEANING - <br />GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1-64 PROJECT: <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10328, adopted September <br /> <br />8, 1986, the City Clerk called for bids for pipe and culvert <br /> <br />cleaning in General Improvement District No. 1-64 in order to <br /> <br />improve the circulation pattern of the Redwood Shores waterway <br /> <br />system; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, a bid was received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Rodding Cleaning Service, Inc., San Leandro, <br /> <br />California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to Rodding <br /> <br />Cleaning Services, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Rodding Cleaning Services, Inc. in the sum <br /> <br />of Fifty-three Thousand Five Hundred Twenty-five and 12/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($53,525.12) <br /> <br />computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated September 29, 1986, for pipe and culvert cleaning, <br /> <br />is hereby found and declared to be the lowest bidder for said <br /> <br />work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement Pipe and Culvert Cleaning - <br /> <br />10353 <br />
