9/14/98 <br /> <br /> -- ORIGINAL -- <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13454 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE REDWOOD SHORES <br /> SEWER PUMP STATION NO. 2 LANDSCAPE IMPROVEMENT <br /> PROJECT; AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR <br /> SAID WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY <br /> DEPOSIT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, written bids without public advertisement were solicited for <br />the Redwood Shores Sewer Pump Station No. 2 Landscape Improvement <br />Project in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said solicitation three bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS, Poms Landscape Co. of Redwood City, California, was the <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this Council to <br /> <br />accept the bid of Poms Landscape Co.; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The bid of Poms Landscape Co., in the total amount of Eighteen <br /> Thousand Four Hundred Eighty and No/100 Dollars ($18,480.00), computed in <br /> accordance with said bidder's proposal dated September 2, 1998, is hereby <br /> accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> responsible bidder for said work. <br /> <br /> 2.
