<br />SWC:sh 10/02/86 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10350 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />OCT 6 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES RELATING TO THE <br />RELOCATION OF EAST BAYSHORE ROAD AT SEAPORT BOULEVARD <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City plans to relocate and reconstruct East <br /> <br />Bayshore Road as it intersects with Seaport Boulevard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />the City desires to retain an engineering <br /> <br />consultant to perform certain services, including, but not <br /> <br />limi ted to, surveys, mapping, design services, preparation of <br /> <br />improvement plans, contract documents, preconstruction support <br /> <br />and coordination services, relating to the above-referenced <br /> <br />relocation and construction; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the firm of Tillson-Bliss & Associates, Atherton, <br /> <br />California, has represented to the City that it is experienced <br /> <br />and qualified to furnish such services as required by the City; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council does hereby approved the hiring of <br /> <br />Tillson-Bliss & Associates to perform engineering services <br /> <br />relating to the relocation of East Bayshore Road at Seaport <br /> <br />Boulevard, for a total cost not to exceed Sixty-two Thousand <br /> <br />Three Hundred Fifty and No/100 Dollars ($62,350.00). <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an <br /> <br />agreement, in a form approved by the City Attorney, between the <br />City of Redwood City and Tillson-Bliss & Associates. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />50 <br />
