<br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />CUSTODIAL SERVICES SUPERVISOR (Continued) <br /> <br />6.2A <br />Page 51 <br /> <br />Supervise, train and evaluate full and part-time employees. <br /> <br />Establish, maintain and foster positive and harmonious working relationships with those <br />contacted in the course of work. <br /> <br />Skills to: <br />Operate computers, word processing and programs for custodial management. <br /> <br />Operate a motor vehicle safely. <br /> <br />Phvsical Characteristics: <br />Essential duties require the following physical abilities and work environment: <br /> <br />Ability to work in a standard office environment with the ability to travel to <br />different locations as needed. <br /> <br />Ability to work and evening or night shift schedule as required. <br /> <br />Experience and Traininf:l Guidelines: <br />Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required <br />knowledge and abilities in qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and <br />abilities would be: <br /> <br />Experience: <br />Three years of increasing responsible experience in the delivery of <br />custodial services with two years of lead worker experience. <br /> <br />Trainina: <br />Equivalent to an Associate Degree from an accredited college. <br /> <br />Work experience may be substituted for the college requirement and is <br />evaluated on a case by case basis. <br /> <br />License or Certificate: <br />Possession of a valid California Driver's License. <br /> <br />Effective Date: <br />Bargaining Unit: <br /> <br />January, 2007 <br />Redwood City Management Employees Association <br /> <br />3 <br />
