EXHIBIT A <br /> <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br /> COMMUNITY EDUCATION CENTER <br /> FISCAL YEAR 2002/2003 <br /> <br /> CONTRACT OBJECTIVES <br /> <br />Objective h In order to provide quality education for at least 100 <br />Redwood City families we will assess the program as to the <br />achievement of our goal of meeting the exemplary standard <br />for preschools set by the California Department of Education, and <br />take appropriate action wherever gaps are found. <br /> <br />Objective II: · Plan at least 4 workshops, each to include 7 staff members <br /> · Plan at least 4 parent workshops on healthy, safety, <br /> nutrition, conflict resolution, and an introductory to <br /> kindergarten class. <br /> <br />Objective III: <br /> · Maintain accurate records of monies spent on our food <br /> program. <br /> · Insure that nutrition education is stressed by the staff, and <br /> good eating habits are encouraged. <br /> · Provide $10,000 to supplement the food program and <br /> provide funds for 1,305 lunches for the teachers and parent <br /> volunteers. <br /> <br />Objective IV: Provide tuition and books for college level Early <br />Childhood Education classes for at least two staff members in <br />order to enhance the standards and qualifications of the staff. <br /> <br /> <br />
