<br />DAS:sh 8/13/86 <br />DAS:djc 8/15/86R <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />AUG 1 8 1986 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0 3 0 7 <br /> <br />I,~~, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH JACKSON-SHAW COMPANY REGARDING <br />PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS AT REDWOOD SHORES <br />PARKWAY/PICO/SHOREWAY/SKYWAY INTERSECTIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Design Engineering Systems, <br /> <br />Inc. <br /> <br />("DES") <br /> <br />is <br /> <br />preparing for Jackson-Shaw Company ("Developer") plans and <br /> <br />specifications for the construction of additional turn lanes, <br /> <br />median improvements, removal and relocation of traffic signals <br /> <br />and control equipment, installation of curb gutters, culverts and <br /> <br />other work and improvements in and around the the Redwood Shores <br /> <br />Parkway/Pico/Shoreway/Skyway intersections ("Improvements") and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, portions of the proposed Improvements lie within <br /> <br />the corporate limits of the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City desires that Developer bear any and all costs, <br /> <br />risks and liability for said Improvements; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />That certain agreement entitled, "Proposed Improvements at <br /> <br />Redwood Shores Parkway/Pico/Shoreway/Skyway Intersections", (form <br /> <br />dated 8/15/86R), by and between the City of Redwood City and <br /> <br />Jackson-Shaw Company, a copy of which agreement is on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk, and to which copy reference is hereby <br /> <br />made for full particulars thereof, is hereby approved, and the <br /> <br />City Manager is hereby authorized to execute said agreement for <br /> <br />and on behalf of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />10307 <br />
