<br />~AS:djk 8/15/86 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10304 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />I\UG 1 2 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR LIBRARY SITE PREPARATION: <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK; AND <br />DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10256, adopted July 21, <br /> <br />1986, <br /> <br />the City Clerk called for bids for library site <br /> <br />preparation; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Dow Builders, Palo Alto, California, is the lowest <br /> <br />responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of this <br /> <br />Council to award said bid to Dow Builders; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Dow Builders in the estimated sum of Four <br /> <br />Hundred Ninety-three Thousand 00/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($493,000.00) , <br /> <br />computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated August 12, <br /> <br />1986, for library site preparation, is hereby found and declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled "Agreement," by and between the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City and Dow Builders, for the performance of said <br /> <br />work in accordance with the abovementioned bid proposal a copy of <br /> <br />which agreement is presently on file in the office of the City <br /> <br />1030~ <br />
