<br />1lAS:sh <br />AS: sh <br /> <br />8/14/86 <br />8/18/86R <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The the third floor of the Building at 1006 Arguello <br /> <br />Street is determined to be a public nuisance because such <br /> <br />building endangers the life, health, property and safety of the <br /> <br />occupants of such building and affects the health and safety of <br /> <br />the neighborhood and persons in the surrounding vicinity of such <br /> <br />structure. <br /> <br />2. The specific findings supporting the determination that <br /> <br />the third floor of such building constitute a public nuisance are <br /> <br />shown in the summaries of official reports, attached hereto and <br /> <br />incorporated herein by reference, labeled as follows: <br /> <br />EXHIBIT B) Notice of Official Action <br /> <br />(January 16, 1986) <br /> <br />EXHIBIT C) Warning Correspondence to <br />Garland E. & Sheila M. Jones (April 9, 1986) <br /> <br />EXHIBIT D) Memorandum from Building <br />Inspector to City Attorney <br /> <br />(April 23, 1986) <br /> <br />3. The owners of the building at 1006 Arguello Street are <br /> <br />hereby directed to abate such public nuisance within thirty (30) <br /> <br />days from the date of this hearing by either (a) properly <br /> <br />reconstructing or repairing the third floor of such building or <br /> <br />(b) razing or removing the third floor of such building. <br /> <br />4. The owners of such building are hereby notified that <br /> <br />unless the owners abate such nuisance within such thirty (30) day <br /> <br />period the third floor of the house will be razed or removed by <br /> <br />the City and all expenses thereof shall be made a lien on <br /> <br />property at 1006 Arguello Street (APN 052-255-080) in accordance <br /> <br />with the provisions of Section 9.8 of the Redwood City Code. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br />
