<br />DAS:sh 8/13/86 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10300 <br /> <br />AUG 1 8 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION CONFIRMING REPORT OF SUPERINTENDENT OF <br />STREETS ON WEED ABATEMENT; OVERRULING PROTESTS <br />THERETO; AND AUTHORIZING ASSESSMENT OF THE COST OF <br />ABATEMENT (SECOND DISKING) AGAINST THE PARTICULAR <br />PARCELS CONCERNED FOR 1984-1985 ASSESSMENT ROLL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 9785, adopted January 21, 1985, <br /> <br />the City Council declared weeds, rubbish, dirt and rank growths <br /> <br />in the City of Redwood City to be a nuisance, and set February <br /> <br />25, 1985 as the date for all objections to the proposed abatement <br /> <br />of said public nuisance to be heard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due notice therefor having been given as required <br /> <br />by Article IV, Chapter 14, of the Code of the City of Redwood <br /> <br />City, and no objections having been presented to said proposed <br /> <br />abatement, the City Council acquired jurisdiction to perform the <br /> <br />work of abating said nuisance, and by Resolution 9810, adopted <br /> <br />February 25, 1985 ordered the Superintendent of Streets to abate <br /> <br />said nuisance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Superintendent of Streets has submitted to <br /> <br />this Council of the City of Redwood City for confirmation an <br /> <br />itemized report of the cost of the second disking abatement of <br /> <br />weeds, dirt, rubbish and rank growths from or abutting each <br /> <br />separate parcel of land from which weeds, dirt, rubbish and rank <br /> <br />growths were removed, and a list of the expenses proposed to be <br /> <br />assessed against said parcels for said second disking abatement <br /> <br />(Exhibit <br /> <br />"A" <br /> <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> <br />reference); and <br /> <br />l030~. <br />
