<br />(7-1-86 bR1GINAl <br />B_S;_~_Q_b_~LI_I_Q_N__N_Q.:.l 0 290 AUG 4 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />AGREEMENT WITH SEQUOIA YHCA (YOUTH & FAHILY SERVICES AND <br />FAIR OAKS OUTREACH) <br /> <br />. <br />WHEREAS, Sequoia V.H.C.A. (Vouth & Family Services and Fair Oaks <br /> <br />Outreach) has been established for the principal purpose of diverting <br /> <br />youth from the Juvenile Justice system and to provide a delinquency <br /> <br />prevention capability for families and agencies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Sequoia V.H.C.A. (Vouth & Family services and Fair Oaks <br /> <br />Outreach) has requested financial assistance for use by it in <br /> <br />conducting its activities during the fiscal year commencing July 1, <br /> <br />1986 and ending June 30, 1987; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City has reviewed said requests and <br /> <br />desires to pay Sequoia Y.H.C.A. (Youth & Family Services and Fair Oaks <br /> <br />Outreach) the sum of TWENTV-SIX THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED EIGHTV AND NO/I00 <br /> <br />DOLLARS ($26,880.00); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to this Council for approval an <br /> <br />agreement between the City of Redwood City and Sequoia V.H.C.A. (Youth <br /> <br />& Family Services and Fair Oaks Outreach) and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to approve the same; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />10290 <br /> <br />~ , <br />
