The proposal of FIRST CONTINENTAL FINANCIAL CORPORATION <br />of Dallas, Texas, to lease, with an option to purchase, six (6) <br />2-1/2 ton cab and chassis trucks to be acquired by the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City pursuant to the agreement between said City and <br /> <br />Mission Valley Ford (which agreement was approved by Resolution <br /> <br />No. 10139, adopted February 10, 1986, by this Council) for a term <br /> <br />of four (4) years at 7.00 APR of interest, payable in four <br /> <br />installments of Fifty-one Thousand One Hundred Ninety-six and <br /> <br />40/100 Dollars ($51,196.40) per annum, is hereby accepted and the <br /> <br />Ci ty Manager is hereby authorized to execute a lease-purchase <br /> <br />agreement evidencing the aforesaid transaction, and the City <br /> <br />Manager, Director of Finance, or other appropriate officials are <br /> <br />hereby authorized to execute such other documents as may be <br /> <br />appropriate to perfect the acquisition of said equipment through <br /> <br />said lease-purchase arrangement; provided, however, that all such <br /> <br />documents evidencing such acquisition shall be subject to the <br /> <br />approval of the City Attorney as to form. <br /> <br />2. To the extent, if at all, inconsistent herewith, the <br /> <br />provisions of that certain agreement by and between the City of <br /> <br />Redwood City and Mission Valley Ford (as approved pursuant to <br /> <br />Resolution No. 10139 above referenced) shall be deemed amended to <br /> <br />provide for the acquisition of six (6) 2-1/2 ton cab and chassis <br /> <br />trucks therein described pursuant to the lease-purchase agreement <br /> <br />herein approved. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br />
