<br />DAS:sh 7/31/86 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />10270 <br /> <br />AUG <br /> <br />4 1986 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING <br />PROJECT, 1986-87; <br />AGREEMENT FOR SAID <br />SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />BID FOR WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT <br />AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />WORK; AND DIRECTING RETURN OF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10249, adopted July 7, <br /> <br />1986, the City Clerk called for bids for Water Main Improvement <br /> <br />Project 1986-87; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />performance of said work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Detrick Corporation, San Jose, California, is the <br /> <br />lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire of <br /> <br />this Council to award said bid to Detrick Corporation; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Detrick Corporation in the sum not to exceed <br /> <br />Seven Hundred Forty-five Thousand One Hundred Twenty and 00/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($745,120.00), computed in accordance with bidder's <br /> <br />proposal dated July 29, 1986, for Water Main Improvement Project <br /> <br />1986-87, is hereby found and declared to be the lowest bidder for <br /> <br />said work. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />enter into and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City that <br /> <br />certain agreement entitled II Agreement, II by and between the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City and Detrick Corporation, for the performance of <br /> <br />said work in accordance with the abovementioned bid proposal a <br /> <br />10270 <br />
