<br />DAS:sh 7/21/86 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10269 <br /> <br />AUG <br /> <br />4 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR STREET TREE MAINTENANCE <br />(1986-87); AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10236, adopted June 16 <br /> <br />1986, the City Clerk called for bids for street tree maintenance <br /> <br />(1986-87) in the City of Redwood City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for said <br /> <br />maintenance work and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, James P. Cox, dba J. Cox Tree Service, Redwood <br /> <br />City, California, is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the <br /> <br />intention and desire of this Council to award said bid to J. Cox <br /> <br />Tree Service; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of J. Cox Tree Service at the total hourly rate <br /> <br />of Fifty-Six and 50/100 Dollars ($56.50), computed in accordance <br /> <br />with bidder's proposal dated June 14, 1986, for the street tree <br /> <br />maintenance is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found <br /> <br />and declared to be the lowest bidder for said maintenance. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />street tree maintenance in accordance with the abovementioned bid <br /> <br />proposal, a copy of which proposal is presently on file in the <br /> <br />office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made for <br /> <br />10269 <br />
