EXHIBIT A <br /> <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />SAN MATEO COUNTY INTERFAITH HOSPITALITY NETWORK (IHN) <br />ROTATING SHELTER AND DAY CENTER <br /> FISCAL YEAR 2002 / 2003 <br /> <br /> CONTRACT OBJECTIVES <br /> <br /> Increase both the number of South County Volunteers by 100 and <br /> the congregational membership by 3 congregations. In Redwood <br /> City, we seek to add two more congregations and 100 new <br /> volunteers. <br /> 95% of participants in our volunteer training program will have an <br /> increased sensitivity to issues of homelessness. <br /> 70% of all families served will attain permanent or more stable <br /> semi-permanent (shelter, transitional) housing. <br /> 70% of all guest families will experience an increase in their <br /> income or an increase in financial stability through securing new <br /> employment, promotions, career changes, savings, enrollment in <br /> subsidized housing programs, or acquisition of cash aid and other <br /> County benefits. <br /> Increase shelter services to an additional 10 families during 2002 <br /> over families served in 2001. <br /> Make 300 meaningful referrals for our shelter clients. <br /> <br /> <br />
