<br />DAS: sh <br />SWC:sh <br /> <br />7/11/86 <br />7/21/86R <br />ORfGJNAl <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10254 <br /> <br />JUL 2 1 1286 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR THE FURNISHING OF <br />ASPHALT CONCRETE FOR 1986-87 FISCAL YEAR; AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR; AND DIRECTING RETURN <br />OF SECURITY DEPOSITS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10237, adopted June 16, <br /> <br />1986, the City Clerk called for bids for the furnishing of <br /> <br />asphalt concrete for 1986-87 Fiscal Year; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received and <br /> <br />filed with the City Clerk for the furnishing of said materials; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Granite Rock Company, Redwood City, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />materials, and it is the intention of this Council to award said <br /> <br />bid to Granite Rock Company; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Granite Rock Company, in the amount of <br /> <br />Fifty Two Thousand One Hundred Seventy Seven and 50/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($52,177.50), more or less, for the furnishing of asphalt <br /> <br />concrete for 1986-87 Fiscal Year in accordance with the bidder's <br /> <br />proposal, dated June 24, 1986, and in accordance with the <br /> <br />specifications therefor on file in the office of the City Clerk, <br /> <br />is hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared <br /> <br />to be the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of said <br /> <br />materials. <br /> <br />l025~ <br />
