<br />DAS:sh 7/1/86 <br /> <br />---------- <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0 2 4 6 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />JUL 7 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF SINGLE <br />SHEET ALUMINUM HIGHWAY SIGNS (INVENTORY SIGN <br />REPLACEMENT); AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10214, adopted May 19, <br /> <br />1986, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of single <br /> <br />sheet aluminum highway signs (inventory sign replacement); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said signs and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Zumar Industries, Inc., Los Agneles, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to Zumar Industries, Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Zumar Industries, Inc., in the sum of Twenty <br /> <br />Five Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-nine and 97/100 Dollars <br /> <br />($25,959.97), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />June 12, 1986, for the sale of single sheet aluminum highway <br /> <br />signs (inventory sign replacement) is hereby accepted and said <br /> <br />bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest bidder for <br /> <br />said signs. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of said signs in accordance with the abovementioned <br /> <br />bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is presently on file in <br /> <br />the office of the City Clerk, to which reference is hereby made <br /> <br />B I'tv' 2~4' 6 <br />..,jL. ~- <br />
