<br />SWC:sh 6/20/86 <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />10242 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br />JUN 2 3 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF SIX (6) <br />DUMP BODIES; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT <br />THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10217, adopted May 19, <br /> <br />1986, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of six (6) <br /> <br />dump bodies; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Cooks Truck Body Mfg., Inc., San Jose, California, <br /> <br />is the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and <br /> <br />desire of this Council to award said bid to Cooks Truck Body <br /> <br />Mfg., Inc.; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Cooks Truck Body Mfg., Inc., in the sum of <br /> <br />Forty <br /> <br />Thousand <br /> <br />Six <br /> <br />Hundred <br /> <br />Eleven <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />80/100 <br /> <br />Dollars <br /> <br />($40,611.80), computed in accordance with bidder's proposal dated <br /> <br />June 17, 1986, for the sale of six (6) dump bodies is hereby <br /> <br />accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the <br /> <br />lowest bidder for said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of <br /> <br />said equipment <br /> <br />in accordance wi th the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />10242 <br /> <br />_J _ <br />
