<br />SWC:sh 6/20/86 <br /> <br />ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N o. 1 0240 <br /> <br />JUN 2 3 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) <br />RUBBER TIRED BACKHOE/LOADERS; AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT THEREFOR <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10201, adopted May 5, <br /> <br />1986, the City Clerk called for bids for the purchase of two (2) <br /> <br />rubber tired backhoe/loaders; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received for the <br /> <br />purchase of said equipment and filed with the City Clerk; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Case Power & Equipment, San Leandro, California, is <br /> <br />the lowest responsible bidder and it is the intention and desire <br /> <br />of this Council to award said bid to Case Power & Equipment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The bid of Case Power & Equipment, in the sum of Fifty <br /> <br />Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-six and 12/100 Dollars ($50,956.12) <br />plus trade in of the City's 580 Loader/Backhoe #8656493, computed <br /> <br />in accordance with bidder's proposal dated June 16, 1986, for the <br /> <br />sale of two (2) rubber tired backhoe/loaders is hereby accepted <br /> <br />and said bidder is hereby found and declared to be the lowest <br /> <br />bidder for said equipment. <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to <br /> <br />execute all documents on behalf of the City of Redwood City for <br /> <br />the purchase of <br /> <br />said equipment <br /> <br />in accordance wi th the <br /> <br />abovementioned bid proposal, a copy of which proposal is <br /> <br />presently on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which <br /> <br />10240 <br />
