<br />DAS:djc <br /> <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />No.I0227 <br /> <br />RIGINAL <br />J N 8 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />SHOREBIRD NEIGHBORHOOD PARK; REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS; <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT FOR SAID WORK <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 10192, adopted Apri 28, <br /> <br /> <br />1986, the City Council authorized the City Deparment of P <br /> <br />Works to call for bids for construction of Shorebird Neighbo hood <br /> <br />Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to said call, bids were received fo the <br /> <br />performance of said work; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Munkdale Bros., A Joint Venture ("Munkdale') of <br /> <br />Burlingame, California, is the lowest responsible bidder a d it <br /> <br />is the intention and desire of this Council to award bid to said <br /> <br />Munkdale; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD ITY, <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />The bid of Munkdale in the sum of Four <br /> <br /> <br />dred <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Ninety-seven Thousand Two Hundred Forty-one and No/100 lars <br /> <br />($497,241.00) computed in accordance with bidder's proposal ated <br /> <br />May 19, 1986 for construction of Shorebird Neighborhood Par, is <br /> <br />hereby accepted and said bidder is hereby found and declar to <br /> <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and direct <br /> <br /> <br />be the lowest bidder for said work. <br /> <br />enter into and to execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City <br /> <br />that certain agreement entitled, "Agreement," by and on beha f of <br /> <br />the City of Redwood City and Munkdale for the performance of said <br /> <br />~u~~" <br />
