ORIGINAL <br /> <br />RES 0 L UTI 0 N <br /> <br />N O. <br /> <br />1 0223 <br /> <br />J N <br /> <br />9 1986 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL ASSISTANCE <br />(COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT) AND AUTHORIZING <br />EXECUTION AND FILING OF ALL DOCUMENTS PERTAINING <br />THERETO (FISCAL YEAR 1986-87) <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Community Development Block Grant Program <br /> <br />authorized pursuant to Title I of the Housing <br /> <br />nity <br /> <br />States (Pub. Law 93-383), provides for the issuance of gran s in <br /> <br /> <br />Development Act of 1974, as enacted by the Congress of the U ited <br /> <br />order to attain the objective of the development of viable rban <br /> <br />communi ties, by providing decent housing and a sui table I' ving <br /> <br />environment and expanding economic opportunities, principall for <br /> <br />persons of low or moderate income; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been presented to, and reviewed by this <br /> <br />Council, an application to the United States Departmen of <br /> <br />Housing and Urban Development for a Community Development lock <br /> <br /> <br />Grant in the amount of Four Hundred Fifty Two Thousand and N /100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($452,000.00) for the period of July 1, <br /> <br /> <br />June 30, 1987; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there has been prepared by the Directo of <br /> <br />Community Development a Notice of Determination, determining that <br /> <br />the proposed Community Development Block Grant Program, a set <br /> <br />forth in the aforesaid application, <br /> <br />is exempt from the <br /> <br />requirements of NEPA and CEQA as a ministerial project and does <br /> <br />not have a significant effect on the environment, and a noti e of <br /> <br />such determination filed with the County Clerk of San <br /> <br /> <br />ateo <br /> <br />County; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council desires to approve the aforement'oned <br /> <br />application for a Community Development Block Grant to <br /> <br />10223 <br />
