<br />SWC:djc 3/20/86 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, <br /> <br /> <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> <br />1. The building at 816 Walnut Street is hereby determined <br /> <br /> <br />to be a public nuisance because such building endangers the life, <br /> <br />health, property and safety of the occupants of such building and <br /> <br /> <br />affects the health and safety of the neighborhood and persons in <br /> <br /> <br />the surrounding vicinity of such structure. <br /> <br />2. The specific findings supporting the determination that <br /> <br /> <br />such building constitutes a public nuisance are shown in the <br /> <br />Building Department report, labeled "Exhibit B", attached hereto <br /> <br /> <br />and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />3. The owners of the building at 816 Walnut Street are <br /> <br /> <br />hereby directed to abate such public nuisance within thirty (30) <br /> <br /> <br />days from the date of this hearing by either (a) properly <br /> <br /> <br />constructing or repairing such building or (b) razing or removing <br /> <br />such building. <br /> <br /> <br />4. The owners of such building are hereby notified that <br /> <br />unless the owners abate such nuisance within such thirty (30) day <br /> <br />period the building will be razed or removed by the City and all <br /> <br /> <br />expenses thereof shall be made a lien on the property at 816 <br /> <br />Walnut Street (APN 053-233-200) in accordance with the provisions <br /> <br /> <br />of Section 9.8 of the Redwood City Code. <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />2 <br />
